There are two options: (1) PhD by Research; (2) PhD by Coursework and Research. PhD by Research students are expected to undertake 1 year of coursework, while PhD by research students undertake research only.

You can apply for admission to PhD by Research at anytime of the year. The deadline for PhD by Coursework and research is usually around March/April. Please visit www.rgt.mak.ac.ug for more information about graduate admissions
